AMS QQA 250/11 6061 is a medium strength alloy grade supplied to the American Standard which is solution treated and artificially aged to achieve the T6 condition. Also available in the ‘O’ (annealed) and ‘T4’ (solution treated only) conditions to accommodate various degrees of forming, drawing or spinning operations.
AMS QQA 250/11 6061 is a medium-strength sheet alloy with good formability and good weldability. The alloy has good resistance to atmospheric corrosive attack.
