AMS QQA 225/9 7075 Aluminium Alloy

AMS QQA 225/9 7075 - a high strength American specification aluminium alloy containing 5.1 to 6.1% zinc. Solution treated, artificially aged and controlled stretched to achieve the T651 condition; we supply the material in drawn, rolled, cold finished wire, bar and profile form.



Benefits

AMS QQA 225/9 7075 is a high strength aluminium alloy offering very good machinability and very good weldability using resistance, spot or beam welding. Other welding methods are not recommended. The alloy has fair resistance to atmospheric corrosion.
