AMS QQA 200/8 6061 is a medium strength alloy, made to the American Standard. Solution treated, artificially aged and controlled stretched to achieve the T6511 condition, our product is supplied in extruded bar and profile form. We offer both American specification and commercial aluminium alloy equivalents.
The alloy offers very good machinability and good resistance to corrosive atmospheric attack. Weldability is very good by inert gas, resistance and spot welding.
