Aluminium Strip

Fundamentally, strip products are similar to coiled sheets but are then cut into thinner widths (for example 50mm or 100mm wide). Material, which is thicker than 0.2mm and no larger than 6mm, is classed as strip or sheet. Strip products are ideal for use in press tools because the material can be fed and then pressed into components.

Aluminium strip should not be confused with foil which is less than 0.2mm and can be as thin as 0.0065mm.
