L105 is a high strength, aluminium alloy tube product supplied in the T4 temper which retains its strength after heat treatment.
L105 contains 4-5% copper alloy, and we supply the material in the fully heat-treated condition (solution heat-treated & artificially aged). We stock this aluminium alloy tube product in the T5 temper in pipe/tube form. The material offers enhanced machinability.
L105 is used widely in the aerospace and defence sector in the manufacture of high strength components.
We stock L105 in round tube, rectangular tube and square tube.
