DEF STAN 02-835 (NES835) is an advanced precipitation-hardenable copper-nickel. The alloy is an improved version of 90/10 and 70/30 with excellent corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength. Designed specifically for the oil & gas, marine and naval market, DEF STAN 02-835 (NES835) also offers good resistance to impingement, very good anti-galling properties, and a freedom from hydrogen embrittlement and high impact strength. With high ductility, the alloy is easily welded, machined and fabricated.
DEF STAN 02-835 (NES835) copper-nickel alloy is an advanced precipitation-hardenable copper-nickel with improved mechanical properties over 90/10 and 70/30.
