Regardless of whether you are looking for small quantities or large tonnages, our vast range of copper bar stock (also known as copper rod) is available to you at a moments notice. We stock the product in a variety of grades and incremental sizes that ensure you receive your material as close to your finished size requirements as possible. Our stock range includes both imperial and metric sizes.
Typical engineering applications for copper round bar include electrical components, transformers, busbars, architectural structures and building components. An attractive mixture of high workability, thermal and electrical conductivity combined with superior corrosion resistance ensures that our products have widespread use in industry.
Smiths processes more than 2 million billets per annum. It is this investment in high-end CNC cutting machinery and our processing service, which ensures that we will cut your copper bars to exact lengths and at the highest possible quality. We cut bars up to 540mm section thickness and at a minimum blank length of 8mm. We perform all this without crushing or marking the end material. Our machinery handles ultra-high volumes.
