C106 Copper Alloy

C106 is a phosphorus deoxidised non-arsenical copper alloy.

For Non-Electrical use

C106 copper alloy is the preferred grade for non-electrical applications such as for fasteners, general engineering and construction. The metal is easily brazed or welded and possesses excellent formability. C106 can be used for plating and polishing and also has aesthetic value. It is used in architectural applications.


C106 (CW024A) copper has good corrosion resistance and excellent formability/joining properties. It is a non-magnetic and spark resistant metal, with very good electrical and thermal conductivity. It is not susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement.
