7050 Commercial Aluminium Alloy

7050 aluminium is a heat-treatable alloy which is known as a commercial aerospace alloy.



Heavy Plate Applications

The alloy offers a combination of high strength, high fatigue strength and high resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Particularly suited to heavy plate applications, the material finds use in fuselage frames, wing skins and other aerospace structures. 7050 alloy is available in two tempers.



Key Features

The product possesses good mechanical strength and is particularly suited for heavy plate applications. Available in both T7651 and T7451 tempers, the alloy has good stress corrosion cracking resistance and toughness.
