S527 Aerospace Stainless Steel Sheet

BS S527 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel stabilised with niobium.

Good Corrosion Resistance

The material is available in soft annealed sheet and strip and is suitable for low strength components requiring good corrosion resistance and cold workability, with good weldability and tensile strength (Rm) 540 N/mm². BS S527 is the British aerospace standard for stainless steel 347, and is often supplied dual-certified to the U.S. aerospace specification AMS 5512.


BS S527 aerospace stainless steel sheet is a material used in low strength applications. Stabilised with Niobium, the alloy offers good workability, weldability and corrosion resistance. We are a single supply source for your aerospace stainless steel sheet and will guillotine your material to your size requirements.
