BS S524 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel stabilised with titanium.
The alloy is available in the cold-rolled or cold rolled and tempered condition. It is suitable for medium-strength components requiring good corrosion resistance and cold workability. The alloy offers good weldability and has a tensile strength (Rm) 800-1100 N/mm².
BS S524 aerospace stainless steel sheet finds use in the production of medium strength components. Supplied in the cold-rolled or cold rolled and tempered condition, the alloy has good cold workability, good corrosion resistance. We offer dedicated guillotining services to cut your aerospace sheet to size.
