L80 Aerospace Aluminium Sheet

Alloy L80/L81 is an aluminium sheet product known as a general sheet metal work grade which we will guillotine to size for you, in-house.

Aerospace Aluminium

The material offers high marine corrosion resistance with good weldability and very good cold formability. The alloy is also known for rapid work hardening, so care needs to be taken in the forming process. L80/L81 finds use in the manufacture of aircraft parts and structural marine applications among many others.


L80 / L81 aluminium sheet offers good ductility and formability and is readily weldable. With high resistance to marine corrosion and very good anodising properties, this aesthetically pleasing medium strength alloy benefits from rapid work hardening.
