L44 aluminium alloy is a medium to high strength alloy.

L44 benefits from good weldability and very good corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and industrial atmospheres. With good cold formability and medium to high fatigue strength, L44 aluminium is used in numerous applications in markets such as oil & gas, aerospace, marine and construction.

L44 aluminium forging stock is a medium to high strength alloy which benefits from very good weldability and medium to high fatigue strength. The material offers very good corrosion resistance in seawater and industrial atmospheres and has good cold formability.
