Brass Hollow Bar

We offer our customers a range of brass hollows in both imperial and metric sizes which are available for immediate supply from stock. Brass hollows differ from tubular products because typically, the walls are thicker and retain strength similar to that of solid bar equivalents. Often, there are cost savings available dependent on the application because the price per weight is less, yet there is a negligible reduction in performance.

Brass hollows are used broadly in engineering applications due to the materials strength, machinability and corrosion resistance. Typical applications include low friction applications such as in locks and bearings, casings and valves, electrical and plumbing components and also in marine applications.

Processing

We process our brass hollow bar products in-house where we cut your material to your particular size requirements. We stock hollows in closer incremental sizes, which means that often we have the exact you require which could negate the need for the material to machined down.
