We offer a range of beryllium copper round bars which are available to our customers, ex-stock. Beryllium copper combines a variety of properties which make this particular alloy an attractive proposition for use in demanding applications in a diverse range of markets.
Beryllium copper is a non-sparking, non-magnetic alloy which offers excellent electrical and thermal conductivity properties. Examples of use include Alloy 25, which is a high strength alloy that is popular for use in the production of electrical components. The alloy is also well known for retaining its strength at both cryogenic and elevated temperature. It has proved popular in applications such as oilfield tooling and subsea / above sea applications mainly due to the alloys excellent corrosion resistance.
We offer an in-house rod blanking service where we cut your beryllium copper bar to exact lengths. As a Group, we cut 2 million billets every year and are cable of processing most materials without marking or crushing. We can remove the need for your business to cut down round bars into more manageable billets - we will do all this for you.
