Non Heat-Treatable

The main alloying element of 3000 series aluminium alloys is manganese, and our range is generally non-heat-treatable. A limited percentage of manganese is added to the aluminium, as it's inclusion as the primary alloying element is only rare cases.

3003 aluminium alloy, for example, is a material used for general-purpose engineering in applications where good workability and strength is required.
